There was another case that was filed a while back from

California and the Supreme Court ruled on it and Roberts was the

deciding vote and he upheld that it was okay to restrict indoor

worship now. In this recent case, that's out

of New York. They are mention that case in

California, and they said things were different back.

Then, again. It was 9 months ago.

We didn't know a lot. What was going on.

We didn't know the science of what's going on and we didn't
00:34:05
know how to protect or slow the spread.

But now as go Justice Gorsuch settings, concurring opinion

Therefore we shouldn't allow or full restriction on religious

liberty and people practicing in person.

So he mentioned this, the court case from California to contrast

it and say there's a difference between what's going on that and

what's going on now. So this ruling came out which we

discussed last week. We went through a lot of it.

So California, who heard this ruling basically said, that's

nice. We don't care.

We don't really care. We're not going to listen to

whatever the Supreme Court says. Governor Susana ministration.

So yeah, we're not gonna listen to whatever Gorsuch says even

though they're on the Supreme Court.

So we're not going to listen to that.

We're still going to restrict indoor worship.

So now in response to that the Supreme Court, sent a brief

basically ordering the ninth circuit to re-examine their

ruling on upholding, the Restriction saying look, here's

what we found. Here's what we believe.

Maybe you should take a look at it.

It's kind of like your boss coming into your office and
00:35:27
saying look, I'm not going to tell you how to do this or what
00:35:32
you should be doing. But here's what I would do.

And that's a think what the Supreme Court is basically

doing. They are saying, look, we're not

going to tell you how to rule on this case.

But just to let you know, this is what we, the court one step

above you. Would do in this situation.

So now you need to figure it out on your own.

So a little bit of a win will see where the ninth circuit goes
