there is that come the midterms that despite it passing, that

in favor of Prop 50. The initiative will suspend the

state's independent redistricting Commission and

temporarily use a redrawn political map through the year

2030. Now we're also keeping an eye.

Temporarily. Temporarily county a 5/8 of 1
00:08:53
cent sales tax increase that is designed to offset federal.

The Democrats don't have a strong person to run for

we got to follow the Supreme Court, and we gotta, you know,

we have to listen to this now. You got to redraw the districts

again, like we may be looking at.

There's a possibility that next summer there could be a mad dash

to figure out what the districts are going to be under a new
00:32:42
Supreme Court ruling that gets rid of Section 2 and all of this

gerrymandering. So Prop 50, for the amount of
00:32:49
money they spent on it, may all be for naughty like.

It may not matter in the end because litigation could happen.

The districts are gerrymandered. It violates the Equal Protection

clause of the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution.

And here we go. Districts have to be redrawn

this way, and then if people start going to court and then
